In the Everglades Hotel, luxury accommodation and top class service are part of the package.
The hotel is located just a few minutes’ drive outside Derry so it is a convenient base for seeing the sights of this pretty walled city.
Speaking of pretty, the hotel is surrounded by lovely trees and greenery in the private garden and is attractively and stylishly decorated throughout. There’s a good variety of room types and suites and dining options too, so the hotel has something for everyone.
With comfortable accommodation and comforting Irish cooking the Everglades is a terrific hotel in an area steeped in history and culture with wonderful local food.

The Grill is the main dining option at the Everglades Hotel. The menu focuses on local meats, fish, and shellfish as well as other locally sourced produce.
A bountiful buffet breakfast is also served in The Grill Restaurant each morning. Be sure to bring your appetite.
The Library Bar is just as relaxing as it sounds and is the place to chill out and unwind with a drink and good company, or a good book.
The Grill Restaurant in the Everglades Hotel is an experience in local culinary delights. The contemporary space with an elegantly-casual atmosphere offers the best in bistro dining.
The specialty here is grilling, hence the name, and the charcoal grill in the kitchen was specially installed.
À la carte choices include rib eye steak from 28 days hung local Hereford beef (it’s full of flavour from the aging and melts in the mouth), County Antrim Dorset lamb’s liver, free-range pork chops and other wonderful local meats cooked over the coals.
The Grill is open throughout the day and apart from the a la carte menu diners can opt for the table d’hote menu, an early bird menu and seasonal specials. With an extensive wine list to boot, there really is something to suit all tastes.
In the morning, a breakfast buffet is presented laden with delicious local goodies to start your day. Try the Irish porridge with Bushmills Whiskey, honey and cream, the County Down handmade granola or muesli, Clandeboye Estate natural yogurt with fresh fruits, and a selection of smoked fish, cheese and cold meats. You can also order a real Irish breakfast with the works.
All dining facilities are open to non-residents as well as hotel guests.
